However, I very rarely use it for chit chat and I certainly don't use it to check text messages while at a theater!SHARON ELLEN BURTMANhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11677993065974355653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-653774121428975120.post-79085407731025775482011-05-06T21:46:46.438-07:002011-05-06T21:46:46.438-07:00I know just what you mean. Often I pass outdoor tables at restaurants, where I see two people sitting at a table, texting and checking messages instead of talking to each other. That was a little much, because I couldn't excuse myself and leave. Needless to say, we didn't end up becoming friends.Debra Turnerhttp://thesavvvyshopper.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-653774121428975120.post-61118607871919059962011-04-28T07:43:57.160-07:002011-04-28T07:43:57.160-07:00i agree. it is so tempting for people to constant...i agree. it is so tempting for people to constantly be in connection on the cell phone that they are missing the connections right in front of them. sadly, they are also missing the street signs. i had to stop using the cell (except when briefly important_) because the wave frequencies hurt my brain! ah, convenience is such a double edged sword.mindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06830395679731223913noreply@blogger.com
